Kendriya Vidyalaya Mandapam ,(District Ramnathpuram,Tamilnadu) is located on National Highway 49 from Madurai to Rameshwaram. This information is posted for newly recruited teachers those are going to join this Vidyalaya in near future. Those are coming from Chennai may reach Mandapam both by train and bus. Two evening trains departs from Chennai Egmore station daily to Rameshwaram. One train reaches at 3:30 am early in the morning at Mandapam , another train reaches at 10: 20 am . Buses also available from Koyambedu bus stand in Chennai. Bus journey takes nearly 12 hours to reach Mandapam in its way to Rameshwaram.
Madurai route:
Buses (24 hours available from mattuthavani bus stand ) and trains ( one in morning and one in evening) are available from Madurai and both takes nearly three hours to reach Mandapam. Rameshwaram is 18 km away from Mandapam. If coming by you can alight from bus at Mandapam Camp (just 2 km away from KV school) also which is in midway between KV school and Mandapam.
KV School , Mandapam is lacated nearly 4-5 km away from Manadapam Bus stand and Railway Station. Autos can be hired both from bus stand and Railway station to reach KV school. So dear teacher, get packed and join our KV Pariwar. Wishing good luck for you.
